To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com Job Description What You’ll Be Doing Remote Banking & Shared Service (RBSS) Technology provides critical services for Retail Banking and parts of Wholesale Banking, as well as various key enterprise technology capabilities.

You will join the CIBC’s RBSS eFTS team where you’ll will work for ATM Front end & Splunk COE team to design, build, implement, support and maintain solutions that support and enhance the ATM Applications & Splunk implementations.

You will need to work hands-on with technologies and tools used for ATM and Splunk area.

You will be involved in integration of vendor software & hardware for CIBC customizations.

You will also actively involve in Trouble shooting network issues, supporting production incidents, managing infrastructure updates for Applications with internal & external stakeholders and Leading project initiatives for all core/supporting applications.

How You’ll Succeed Act as a SME: Review requirements and prepare design specifications, conduct impact analysis and provide feedback on problems.

Provide critical solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Provide work package estimates and take the lead role in delivery.

Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved and SLO/SLA are met.

Logical and Analytical Actions: Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify complex applications code/scripts.

Assess technical viability of emerging products, technologies and methods.

Identify patterns and best practices to consider in business/technology areas.

Monitor and analyze code performance and make recommendations to enhance or modify as needed.

Troubleshoot and debug critical issues to ensure that the system(s) are running as expected.

Participate in design and code reviews and provide recommendations for signoff.

Coordinate coding, testing, implementation, integration and documentation of solution.

Develop program specifications.

Relationship Building : Work closely with other cross functional teams (PMO, BA, Operations, QA and external vendors) to support them and ensure that projects get delivered on time and within budget.

Collaborate with business and other external parties involved in delivering a sustainable solution Leadership: Mentorship, project planning, and ability to lead a team of developers to meet project timelines and deliverables; coordination with cross function teams, vendors & technology partners; manage multiple development tasks/initiatives.

Who You Are You can demonstrate experience in Minimum 3 years of experience leading complex initiatives which includes full project development life cycle.

Minimum 7 years of hands on experience in IT & software development area with variety of tools & technologies Advanced level experience in Windows/Linux OS, Firewall, Networking rules, Security Certificate, Unix/PowerShell, Application installation, configurations & server set up.

Advanced level experience in any object oriented programming languages like Java, C/C++, C# Advanced knowledge in application development with .NET framework.

Advanced knowledge in scripting, PowerShell, bash shell Strong knowledge in Regular Expression Nice to have knowledge in data logging, dash boards, visualization creation, preferably ‘Splunk’ or equivalent data analytics tools.

Must have experience supporting applications and production incidents management.

Must have experience and knowledge on DevOps tools and technologies such as CI/CD pipeline, Azure/Jenkins, Containers, Build tools, Git Repo, jFrog/Artifactory etc.
