This is a Contract position in Ottawa region, ON posted May 2, 2018.

Job Description

Numbercrunch is experiencing explosive growth and is currently on the lookout out for a fulltime Bookkeeper who is passionate about numbers and people.

What you must have:

  • Algonquin College diploma in Bookkeeping and/or Accounting
  • Experience working with Quickbooks or Sage
  • Strong excel skills (must know how to use pivot tables at minimum)
  • Great communication skills – both written and verbal
  • At least 1 years experience as a bookkeeper in the last 2 years.

It would be a plus if you had

  • Experience with Quickbooks online

You’ll be doing things like:

  • Juggling multiple responsibilities and projects
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Month-end adjusting entries
  • Payroll processing
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset Management
  • Lease amortization schedules
  • Variance analysis
  • HST, WSIB, EHT and Source Remittance
  • Ad hoc reporting and Administration as needed
