Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted November 18, 2018.

  • Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements
  • Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as receivables, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements in a ledger or computer system
  • Reconcile, balance and post daily payments (Cheques, Credit Cards, Cash and Wire Payments)
  • Prepare daily bank deposits
  • Collections
  • Resolve payment discrepancies
  • Complete weekly deposits
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.

Must have completed College Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a bookeeper or accounting clerk with experience in A/R specifically 
Fluent in English, French is an asset
