Job DescriptionYour future duties and responsibilities: Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following) Configuration, deployment and support of client security Web Content Filtering infrastructure components (security technologies) in collaboration with peers in other CGI teams. Maintain and Support Web Content Filtering platforms Provide technical support and maintenance for this complex environment comprised of enterprise-class security services. Trouble-shooting and resolution of incidents, in collaboration with teammates as required. Produce and update related technical documentation. Develop and evolve process and standard operating procedures for new and existing managed security service offerings. Provide input to the Project Manager to create and update project plans. Works effectively on several concurrent client and/or internal initiatives. Perform validation testing as part of the transition of the security solution into production. Transfer knowledge to colleagues via delivery of training courses and clear concise documentation. Provide feedback to our Service Evolution team on service improvement opportunities. Provide input to reference architectures/designs and implementation plans for managed security solutions; may produce designs for less complex solutions. Provide off-hours on call support on a rotation basis. Maintain awareness of trends in regulatory, technology, and operational requirements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Experience and Education: 5-10 years of IT experience with practical experience. Minimum 2 years of Security Infrastructure Support practical experience Related post-secondary education would be a definite asset. Knowledge of various security technologies Strong troubleshooting, reasoning and problem solving skills. Ability to speak and communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation. Team player, good time-management and organizational skills and ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment. Ability to deal with aggressive timelines and the associated pressure. Ability to speak and write in English Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance of Level II (Secret) Desirable: Knowledge/experience in one or more of the following: Internet Policy Enforcement File Integrity Management (FIM) Strong Authentication Web Application Firewall (WAF) Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Security certifications such as: CISSP, SANS GIAC such as GCFW, GCIA, GCWN.
