OpenText Technical Analyst

Job DescriptionYour future duties and responsibilities: Operational support, monitoring and maintenance of OpenText Content Server solutions. Comprehensive understanding of the technical capabilities offered by OpenText Content Server. Develop or assist with business and functional requirements, project scope, estimates of effort and duration. Translate functional and business requirements into technical requirements. Develop and/or manage technical aspects of application software, user interfaces, and third-party components. Conduct, assist with, and/or manage unit and system tests. Establish technical standards for the technical framework. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Conduct incident assessments/impact analysis for Content Server solutions and/or proposed changes to the solution. Identify the technical aspects of Content Server solutions that meet specific client requirements. Identify any shortcomings, gaps, or missing functionality in the client Content Server solution and/or propose changes to the solution. Propose and develop solutions to address or mitigate any application function gaps in the current GCDOCS solution and/or proposed changes to the solution. Analyze and recommend options for solutions to client issues, enhancement requests and incidents. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: The Technical Analyst is required to perform the tasks and provide the deliverables as outlined above. In order to perform these tasks the individual is required to possess strong technical knowledge and experience in aspects of OpenText Content Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Brava!, AdLib, OpenText Directory Services, Archive Server, experience in systems analysis, ability to resolve complex technical problem and be familiar with the integration of various modules and components. Highly desirable module knowledge includes the OpenText RM suite (Records Management, Physical Objects, and Security Clearance), Object Importer, Application Governance and Archiving, Email Archiving and paper digitization solutions.
