Client Engagement Delivery Director

Job DescriptionYour future duties and responsibilities: Key areas of responsibility will include: The Client Engagement Delivery Director will be responsible and accountable for: Build a strong working relationship with the client and the CGI Client Partnership Management Office team Engage with the client on a day-to-day basis Must have strong background in infrastructure operations (ITIL and/or COBITprocesses) Must be able to speak in confidence during outages and post outage reviews to gain client confidence Must be knowledgeable in change management and release management as the client is risk averse Direct participation in the service delivery and projects (must be engaged) Good understanding of data centers and redundancy configuration Good understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans Ensuring quality service delivery and have the ability to address service issues within CGI and 3rd party providers Must be able to identify new business opportunities and work in conjunction with business development and account executives Work with the teams to develop and refine performance dashboards and present them to the client Assigning, recruiting and supporting the career development of team members Fostering the development of the teams capabilities and expertise in line with client needs/market evolution Leading and managing to achieve targeted revenue and profitability (managing P&L) Required qualifications to be successful in this role: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following core qualifications: 10+ years project/program delivery experience in a senior role within a matrix environment, including solid background in account operational delivery and/or service delivery management at executive director level P&L management experience Experience managing consultants in a matrix environment 2 years minimum experience in providing sales leadership and support in a consulting environment Experience managing at least three to five turnkey engagements each over $1 M in value Additional required Attributes: Team player Time-management and organizational skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to deal with aggressive timelines and the associated pressure Ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels Ability and experience in writing clear and concise technical documentation What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
