REQUIREMENTS:Bilingual (French and English)Successfully completes all of Compass required trainingREPORTS TO: FLOOR MANAGER, DIRECTOR OF DINING HALL:Core Expectations:Able to consistently demonstrate extraordinary guest service based on the 7 essentials of Exceptional Customer Service.Must strive to go above and beyond, following the You First program guidelines.Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous service at all times; respond to customer inquiries regarding service; communicate to guests to help them understand proper use of the Dining Room.Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe working environment.Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times, by presenting themselves on-time, well-groomed, and in full-approved uniform.Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established for the job.KEY REQUIREMENTS:Able to count and handle cash efficiently and accurately.Follow correct opening and closing procedures.Have a complete understanding and adhere to company policies related to safety policies, ensuring safe operation of equipment/environment, and reporting hygiene and safety hazards to their manager.Maintain a positive guest flow through the Dining Room maintaining highest possible occupancy.Provides thorough information regarding menu and menu items.Handle dissatisfied customers in a courteous and professional manner.Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting and checking guests in to the Dining Room, assist guests with seating, group reservations, directions, and general knowledge questions, etc.Performs other tasks as assigned by management, not limited to the duties listed above.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
