Our private sector client is seeking a dynamic candidate for their Bilingual Communications Assistant role. This is a perfect opportunity for any candidates who have completed their post-secondary education in Communications or Marketing and is ready to gain valuable work experience. The ideal candidate has advanced reading, verbal and written communications in both English and French.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct research, writing, editing, and proofreading of promotional materials and documents

Production of online and printed bilingual communications contact, including: website pages, blog articles, research papers, policies, strategic plans, press releases, calls for submissions and other print-based resources and communications

Support the implementation of the social media strategy for the company

Develop and test email distribution templates, monitor online mailings, email blasts and the dissemination of communications materials

Support the production and maintenance of candidate-specific communications, including website/portal content, email templates, help text.

Demonstrated experience of minimum 6 months in bilingual communications, both online and printed

Post-secondary college, university degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Organized, detail-oriented, independent, professional, and able to work in a flexible environment on a deadline driven schedule

Fluently bilingual (French/English) both written and oral

Experience in social enterprise, the social economy or community economic development an asset
