Executive Staffing Consultant

Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Staffing Consultant to join their team for a temporary assignment.

The Staffing Consultant will be required to generate materials for an AS-04 staffing from initiation (poster, initial screening, etc.) to completion (packaging selection results to HR) for the staffing of two similar AS-04 (2) positions in their sector. In addition the consultant will need to work closely with management and HR to bridge and deliver on client service needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Review existing AS-04 position(s) documentation (SOMC);

– Create staffing poster that would include both positions within one staffing process; 

– Work with clients (HR and the Project Lead) to post the opportunity;

– Create master evaluation/rating guide and confirm it conforms to client standards;

– Conduct candidate screening;

– Develop exam; 

-Coordinate and execute screened-in candidate exam;

– Mark and create a list of candidates who qualify for interview;

– Develop interview guide;

– Review completed interview grids (as provided by the client) and collate results;

– Develop reference check guide;

– Complete reference checks on behalf of the client;

– Compile results, brief client and work with HR providing additional information, as required, to satisfy needs to complete the process.


Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in staffing within the federal government.

Education and CertificationsMinimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma.
