Full-time Clinical Pharmacist (Relocate to Timmins, ON)

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Clinical Pharmacist for a client in the Timmins, ON area. This position would required you to relocate to Timmins.

You will get your own company vehicle as this job will require you to drive. You will be responsible to drive all over the Timmins, ON region to meet and consult with clients.

The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for building and maintaining healthy customer relations with designated Long Term Care facilities, in conjunction with the pharmacy team. You will also be a key part in our training and orientation programs, as well as spearheading your own clinical projects!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote the pharmacyโ€™s image within the community by encouraging a positive profile through participation and leadership in community business groups as well as initiatives focusing on health and wellness
  • Demonstrate outstanding sales ability, leadership capabilities, by bringing energy, enthusiasm, passion and strong communication skills as we strive to be recognized as a local leader in pharmacy health care.
  • Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription, healthy living products, services and O.T.C products in order to provide excellent customer service and encourage customer loyalty.
  • Champion and model the development of subject matter expertise at store level, including product knowledge, merchandising and exceptional Pharmacy/Patient Care.
  • Ensure process and responsiveness to referral clients from front store staff
  • Ensure company standard operating procedures, policies, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.
  • Ensure that the store achieves and maintains financial growth

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in ON
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada certificate
  • Proficient skills with pharmacy operating systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others in team environment
  • Flexible: some evenings/weekend shifts
  • Injection certified
