Bilingual Receptionist

This is a Part-time position in Ottawa, ON posted September 7, 2017.

Our non-profit sector client is looking for a Bilingual Receptionist to join their team for an 8 week contract to cover part time shifts in Ottawa Centre.

Roles and Responsibilities

Greet individuals in person or by telephone in both official languages
Provide general information on the services offered, and on how to access these services
Manage the calendar for staff and clients
Answer telephones, transfer calls, receive messages
Complete administrative duties in support of the team

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:

Excellent ability to read and write in both French and English
One year of reception work experience
Experience working with vulnerable individuals
Punctuality, effective time and priority management
Good organizational skills, and capable of initiative
The ability to work as part of a team

Nice to have:

Knowledge of social service programs
Knowledge of another language is an asset

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required:
College Diploma

The shifts required include Tuesday 9:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday 12:00-4:00pm, Friday 7:45am – 4:15pm, hours may change and additional shifts may be available.
